We are planning on in floor radiant heat in
a new home the pex tubing will be put on top of the sub-floor with gypcrete on top of the tubing. my question is which pex tubing is the best? The clear or the blue i have been told both are equal. is the wisbro system the best? thank you for any advice.

Put in a pex tube with an oxygen barrier. Make sure the tubing is under a pressure test a day before and is holding pressure. keep the pressure on during the gypkrete pour.
I don't feel the brand is of great difference. Check out how long the company has been in business and their annual sales in feet of tubing.

The pipe to use for in floor heat must have an oxygen barrier. I also prefer a staple up system as it stores little heat and therefore is able to keep room at the thermostat setting . If you use an over pour make sure that heat gain from windows can not put too much heat in or you will lose control .
