Hello All...i understand there will be some shrinkage ect. But is PT lumber, including; seal,band, joist, beam & plywood subfloor ok to build with?...Are there any codes that say Are there any adverse affects for using PT in these areas?...Will termites munch on PT?...Will mold/fungus attack PT as quick as it will standard lumber?...

Since the change to ACQ treated lumber, you have to be more discerning what hardware you use. Stainless nails and screws or hot dipped galvanized only. Electroplate galvies and the older joist hangers will be rusted right through by the new chemical in a coupple of years. But it won't rot!
