my Lux 4 wire manual thermostat broke today so I bought a Honeywell CT500 digital manual thermostat to replace it. However, the existing Lux wiring connections are Y, W, G & Rh, along with a jumper cable between Rh & Rc, while the Honeywell connection terminals are only R, Y, W & G. Before I connect the new thermostat, I'd like to know what to do with the jumper cable - do I just remove it and connect the Rh wire to R? Does anyone know what the function of the jumper cable is? I don't want to blow anything up :-)
thanks in advance for any answers!
