I ran 4 wires to my new hot tub circuit. The wires terminate at a 50 amp GFCI breaker. The tub only requires three wires, two hots and a ground, the neutral is not used. Will the GFCI protect as it should with no neutral load? I found this info "GFCIs for 220 VAC applications need to monitor both Hots as well as the Neutral. The principles are basically the same: the sum of the currents in Hot1 + Hot2 + Neutral should be zero unless a fault exists." which seems to indicate that it will. Can someone please tell me if I am correct? Thanks!
