Has anybody used a wagner power painter? I just bought a house and would like to paint the entire interior using a wagner power painter. Is this a good product? Or shall I use the traditional roller brush. Do I need to wash the walls and ceiling too? If I do please give me some info. Thanks!

As a professional, I recommend the "old fashioned" brush and roller combination. Your coat(s) will be heavier and more durable.

Don't skimp on prep, which includes a quick cleaning. Read Bob's tips too.

I was told to never use a power sprayer inside. A professional painter told me to try the Wagner Power Roller instead. We just got one and have not tried it yet...Wal-Mart sells them.

RCM,

HVLP sprayers are excellent for interior work; you don't have the overspray that the others cause.

HVLPs are wonderful, but most homeowners won't find the price to be in their budget. Some places rent them, but they do take time to get used to.
