I am redoing my bathroom and will be using wonderboard in the shower area and greenboard in the dry areas.

Do I need to put some kind of vapor barrier between the wonderboard and studs?? My contractor didn't mention this but I was told it needed to be done??

If I do, can I purchase this at **********??

Thanks in advance guys,

You definitely want to put a vapor barrier between the backerboard and studs. Just to let you know, u'r definitely doing the right thing using the backerboard instead of greenboard in wet areas, but just in case moisture would get thru, you need to protect the wood behind it. Use an 8 mil plastic over the can find it at any of the home stores.
