I am renovating my bathroom. I have replaced the floor(tile), cabinets, bathtub, toilet and sink. Ok, I replaced the bathroom. the last thing to do is the tub surround. I am using the same tile as on the floor(13x13 porcelain). on the floor I staggered the tiles to have a brick pattern. I am trying to decide what to do on the wall. should I do the same pattern, or should I change to regular gragh or diagonal pattern? also what do you do if one tile ends up perfectly where the tub spout or controls are. is there a tool to cut through the tile like say a hole saw would cut through wood. I would like to avoid creating too amny grout lines around the spout or controls.
Thanks in advance for any help.
