October is one of the best times to buy a lawn mower. The mowing season is winding down, and retailers are cutting prices ahead of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7. One standout is the Greenworks 40V 16-Inch Push Mower for $229.99 (was $349.99). It starts with the push of a button, runs quietly, and comes with a 4.0Ah battery and charger, so there’s no gas, fumes, or pull cord to deal with.

The deals cover compact push mowers, self-propelled mowers, gas models, and robot mowers from brands like Greenworks, EGO Power, Honda, SENIX, Mammotion, and Segway. More than a dozen walk-behind mowers are discounted by $100 or more, so there’s no reason to wait for peak mower season next spring, when prices climb back up.
