A stubborn lug nut can turn a routine tire rotation into the longest job of the afternoon. Amazon has air and [cordless impact wrenches](<https://www.bobvila.com/reviews/best-cordless-impact-wrench-options.md>) on sale for DIY mechanics and pros, including the [Bosch 18V 1/2-Inch Mid-Torque Impact Wrench for $99](<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FBMRXYJR>) (was $189), a $90 savings. Its compact body helps you reach fasteners in cramped spaces, while three speed settings let you adjust the output for the job. This is a bare tool, so you’ll need a compatible Bosch battery and charger.

The discount selection ranges from smaller 3/8-inch cordless models to pneumatic shop tools and large-drive wrenches for heavy equipment. Whether you’re building your own automotive tool collection or shopping for a favorite mechanic’s holiday gift, check the battery platform or compressor requirements before buying. The least expensive deal is the [Skil 20V 1/2-Inch Impact Wrench Kit for $77.79](<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FQ86P56C?tag=impact-wrench-deals-oct-2026-20>) (was $89.99).

Loosen stubborn nuts and bolts with up to 410 foot-pounds of breakaway torque from this [mid-torque impact wrench](<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FBMRXYJR?tag=impact-wrench-deals-oct-2026-20>). The tool weighs 2.4 pounds without a battery, reducing the weight you hold when working beneath a vehicle or reaching into an engine compartment.

Remove tight, rusted fasteners with this [cordless impact wrench](<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9T68W3B?tag=impact-wrench-deals-oct-2026-20>), rated for up to 1,400 foot-pounds of breakaway torque. Its 1/2-inch hog-ring anvil holds sockets securely while allowing quick changes; a compatible battery and charger are sold separately.

Connect this [air impact wrench](<https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SRM3I?tag=impact-wrench-deals-oct-2026-20>) to a suitable shop compressor for up to 600 foot-pounds of reverse torque when removing lug nuts and other stubborn fasteners. Its 1/2-inch square drive accepts impact sockets for automotive disassembly and repair.
