As fulfilling as those projects may be to complete, sometimes minor upgrades can improve your daily life just as much as large-scale projects, all without the time-consuming expenses of more involved upgrades. My [Brightroom Bamboo Expandable Spice Rack]() falls neatly into that category: little upgrade, big improvement. For 11 years, I kept all my spices on one shelf, all three dozen jars or so. Even though I often had to remove multiple jars from the cabinet to find what I was looking for, the cabinet wasn’t *technically* broken. So, I just left it that way for many years. We had plenty of other home improvement projects to complete anyway. During some vacation time at home, I had finally had enough of my cluttered cabinet. I decided to gift myself a spice rack, so I considered several options before landing on this one. It ticked all the boxes: good looks, appropriate size, and solid shelves. When searching for spice racks, I saw several wire ones. While wire storage solutions tend to be budget-friendly, they often let items tilt into the gaps. I could envision the frustration that would be caused when taking out and putting back spice jars. No thanks. I was sold on the solid shelves. Plus, back to my first point, these just look better. For just $25, I improved my nightly cooking routine.
