Still, no chore is less desirable than cleaning toilets. Not only is it just plain ol’ gross, but tough buildup, hard water stains, and toilet rings require serious cleaning power. And finding a cleaner that can do more than just eliminate regular buildup? No easy feat. A couple of years ago, my kids’ bathroom toilet had recurrent, stubborn toilet bowl rings, thanks in part to hard water. The kids’ bathroom also doubles as a guest bathroom, and I was embarrassed any time someone had to use that toilet. Desperate to find a fix, I set out to find the [best toilet bowl cleaner](). I started with recommendations from friends and family; some performed okay, but none would completely remove the toilet rings. So, I hit up Amazon, adding a few of the highest-rated cleaners to my list. It has a fairly strong minty scent that’s not overpowering, but makes the bathroom feel clean. And since the gel clings, it’s very easy to spot treat any stain in the bowl. While I’m not usually one to be brand loyal, the [Lysol Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner]() works so well that I haven’t used anything else since first trying it.
