Winter is coming. And with it, snowy and muddy tracks, splatters of soup, and somehow—even more dust than when your windows were open. To make these messes merely a memory, Dyson introduced the WashG1, a wet cleaner powerful enough to remove both dry and wet debris in just one pass. Its onboard clean and dirty water tanks each hold about ¼ gallon, and its rechargeable battery helps you cover over 3,000 square feet of hard floors with up to 35 minutes of runtime. When your work is complete, simply pop it back on its charging dock and set it to self clean.

Two dogs, one cat; three cats, two guinea pigs; a hamster and a rabbit: It doesn’t really matter which species or how many pets you have—they all manage to make messes. Bissell gets that, so they’re adding a Pet Proven certification badge to products specifically tested effective for tackling the yuck our animals sometimes create so you can get back to giving them love. While many Bissell machines are certified Pet Proven, the brand’s Little Green Pet Pro meets the highest set of standards for pet mess cleanup, earning it a Pet Proven Ultimate badge. This carpet and soft-surface cleaner has the strongest suction power and greatest tank capacity of the company’s portable spot-cleaning machines. It also comes with specialized pet tools, including a tough stain attachment and a pet hair remover.
