These Major Retailers Will Price Match Competitors

Price-matching policies, also known as low-price guarantees, ensure that buyers get the best possible price from the store of their choosing. While each store has its own rules, many will match a lower price on an identical item sold by a competitor. Be sure to read the fine print first, though, because exclusions often apply.   1. Walmart

    Walmart will match lower prices on identical items from 30 online retailers (listed here). To get the deal, visit their online Customer Care Center, select the “Contact Us” option, enter the competitor’s price and product information, and then wait for approval before ordering. For in-store items, bring a competitor’s ad to the Customer Service Center after purchasing for a refund of the price difference.

    Whether you find a lower price online or in a store, Bed, Bath & Beyond will match it as long as they carry the exact same item. Get the lower price in one of three ways: 1) Bring a competitor’s ad to the store. 2) Call 1-800-GO-BEYOND and talk with a customer service representative. 3) Request a price match by email at customer.service@bedbath.com.

    Fry’s Electronics offers one of the best price-matching policies around, which can be used at the time of purchase or up to 30 days afterward if you find a lower price on the exact item you bought. Fry’s will match the lower price and may even give you a 10 percent discount!
