Amazon Prime Day is here! We’ve compiled a list of the latest Amazon Prime Day kitchen deals to keep you up-to-date on all the savings to be had.
While it is traditionally held in July, last year Amazon postponed its Prime Day sale until October to accommodate supply chain interruptions and shipping services overwhelmed over the summer. For 2021, Amazon has announced that Prime Day is happening on June 21 and 22. This is good news for bargain hunters planning to restock their kitchen appliances after a year of heavy homebound use or for those with a newfound love of cooking to upgrade their gear without breaking the bank.
Because so many shoppers over the last year have been concerned with purchasing basic supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, Lysol spray, masks, and sanitizing wipes), the warehouses are full of items that would normally have sold but did not. This sets the scene for deep discounts for Prime Day —the warehouses need to be cleared of stock, and so prices may be unusually low.
Traditionally, the best Prime Day kitchen deals are on name-brand luxury small appliances and cookware. If you’ve been eyeing a new super-powered blender or countertop convection oven, this is the time to snap up a bargain. To make sure you’re getting the best deal, you can check out CamelCamelCamel, which tracks Amazon’s prices on individual items and can show you how much you’ll save and help you choose the right time to buy. You can also check Amazon Coupons while you’re shopping; these are daily or weekly coupons that Amazon offers to savvy shoppers who look for them. All you need to do is “clip” the coupon by clicking the box, then add the item to your cart.
One of the best ways to ensure that you get the best deals is to sign up for Amazon’s Prime Rewards Visa card. You’ll get a $100 Amazon gift card upon approval. If you’re a regular Amazon shopper, you’ll notice that often just below the price you’ll see a figure showing how much you’d have saved with the card: That’s because cardholders get 5 percent back on all Amazon purchases and an additional 20 percent off of categories of items that regularly rotate, plus early access to deals year-round.

Do I Need Amazon Prime to Get Prime Day 2021 Deals?
Yes. The first Prime Day was held to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday—and to draw in more subscribers. Luckily, Amazon Prime offers a free 30-day trial for new members with no penalty for canceling, so you can sign up at no cost to access the sales. Amazon offers several levels of Prime; you can pay monthly or annually. If you’re a student, you’re in luck: You’ll qualify for a 6- month trial and a half-price Prime Student membership after the trial is over. If you have an EBT card or receive government support, your monthly cost after the trial is reduced by more than 50 percent. You will need to enter credit card information when you sign up for the trial, but you will not be charged until you’ve reached the end of the 30 days, so if you’re not hooked by then, don’t forget to cancel.
