DeWalt is expanding its ever-popular 20V MAX platform with three new brushless ratchets designed for higher speed, tighter access, and improved durability in shop and jobsite settings.

Taking center stage is the 20V MAX XR Brushless Sealed Head Ratchet, rated up to 450 RPM, making it the fastest 20V MAX ratchet in DeWalt’s lineup and the first to feature a quick-swap interchangeable anvil system for 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch drives. And for confined work areas, the new Atomic 20V MAX Brushless 1/4-inch Extended Reach Ratchet features a long-neck, low-profile head designed to reach fasteners tucked behind engine components and inside equipment housings.

The third addition, the Atomic 20V MAX Brushless 1/4-inch Ratchet, delivers up to 45 ft.-lbs. of torque in a compact frame built with a glass-filled nylon housing designed for durability in chemical-heavy shop environments

20V MAX XR Brushless Sealed Head Ratchet

This XR model delivers up to 450 RPM and 50 ft.-lbs. of max torque, making it DeWalt’s fastest 20V MAX ratchet yet. The sealed head helps protect internal components from jobsite debris, while interchangeable anvils allow fast swaps between 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch drive applications.

ATOMIC 20V MAX Brushless Cordless 1/4 in. Ratchet

Designed for controlled fastening, this compact ATOMIC ratchet delivers up to 250 RPM and 45 ft.-lbs. of torque. A variable-speed trigger, forward/reverse switch, and chemical-resistant housing make it suited for shop, automotive, and industrial environments.

This extended-reach version pairs the same 250 RPM performance and 45 ft.-lbs. of torque with a long-neck design for improved access in confined spaces. The low-profile head helps users reach recessed fasteners without sacrificing control or durability.

Why This Expansion Matters for DeWalt Users

With these additions, DeWalt strengthens its position in the cordless ratchet category by combining higher speed, drive-size versatility, and improved access within the same popular 20V MAX battery platform. For those already invested in DeWalt batteries, this expansion adds more specialized fastening capability in a trusted brand.
