Around the early 90s I remember a Bob Vila TV show where he showed off a "house of the future" which had some very interesting ideas including a hidden storage areas in the floorboards, a modular heating and cooling system and a clever kitchen countertop system. Does anyone else remember this show or have any ideas where I might be able to find a copy of it. I have searched everywhere. Thanks for your help!

That was the Arch House built at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
under the direction of Prof. Walter Kroner, director of RPI's Center
for Architectural Research. He can be reached at 518-276-6463. That
show was made a few years ago. At the time the homes were not yet
available for sale to the general public. Please give Prof. Kroner a
call. He would be happy to tell you more.
Thanks for visiting Bob's Home Site. Stop by often as we're adding
new features regularly.

I don't believe that was the house. I will check the video clips once the servers are less busy but I think the show was about 8-10 years ago and it was only one episode where Bob was walking through a prototype house of the future and demonstrating some of the innovations and features. I think it was a single episode from "This Old House" and possibly the solar house featured in episode #109 of a house in Wilton,CT but I cannot confirm.

Thanks for your help and if you have any other hints please let me know.
