Bvflooring
I am doing a bathroom, I am installing ceramic tiles in my shower 3/4 of the way up, and also doing my floor in ceramice tile

My question is, can I use green board dry wall or do I have to use cement board (dura roc) and I can I use dry wall screws for the dura roc. Also I want to use cement boards for the floor, do I use anything between the sub-floor and the cement board?

yes you can use greenboard, but cement board will be better.you can use drywall screws, but backer board screws are coated ,so they dont rust(no stains).the backerboard for the wall will be 1/2" thick, for the floor it's 1/4"...use a thin set or tile mastic to glue the floor backer board down, then screw it down.the mgf will have a requirement of how many screws to use. ....good luck
