What kinds of projects are you planning to finally tackle this year? Are they related to home repair, new construction, home maintenance? Are you planning to do it yourself or hire professionals?

We keep a running list, sorted by the room, of what needs to be done to the house before we consider selling it. We might never sell but our goal is to get it finished enough that we wouldn't be scrambling if we wanted to.

It varies from..

the extreme - rewiring to get rid of aluminum wiring (DIY), roofing (hired), driveway (combo).

the mundane - finishing past projects, retiling a bathroom, painting, finishing trim work.
