This heavy-duty ratchet runs on the brand’s 20V Max battery system and is able to deliver up to 70 foot-pounds of torque. It has an onboard LED work light, a chemical-resistant nylon housing, and a variable speed trigger. Keep in mind that this particular model includes just the tool only, meaning it doesn’t come with a battery. The smaller sibling to our last pick, the ⅜-inch 20V Max cordless ratchet offers the same convenience in a smaller package—that’s why we recognized it as a top pick in our cordless ratchet test. This model features a chemically-resistant housing, an onboard work light, and a powerful motor that produces up to 70 foot-pounds of torque, controlled by a variable speed trigger. It also comes with a 4 Ah battery and charger.
5. DeWalt 20V Max Brushless Cordless Battery Powered String Trimmer
Power might not be the first thing that comes to mind thinking of cordless string trimmer, but this model from DeWalt has plenty on tap. Who doesn’t need a powerful, compact reciprocating saw? This model from DeWalt is excellent, using the brand’s 60V Max batteries, coming with a 9 Ah battery of its own, as well as a charger. It features tool-less blade changes, a variable speed trigger, and an onboard LED work light. It can reach maximum speeds of 300 strokes per minute, as well, providing a very capable reciprocating saw. (A very similar model took top honors when we tested reciprocating saws, so we’re confident in this newer version’s performance.)

Grinders generally require a lot of power, which is precisely why we find this cordless model from DeWalt to be so special. This cordless grinder utilizes the 20V Max batteries to produce enough power to cut through light-duty steel and heavy-duty cast iron. It also features a kickback brake that helps keep the user safe if the blade binds up and tries to send the grinder backward. Plus, it won our upgrade pick award in our cordless grinder comparison.

This shelving unit measures 50 inches wide, 48 inches high, and 18 inches deep, and it can handle 1,500 pounds per shelf.
