Jon Bitner is a freelance writer, editor, and author covering consumer electronics. He has written for the Bob Vila team since 2023, though he’s been in the industry since 2019.

Proudest DIY
Jon converted an empty cargo van into a livable campervan (excluding the electrical work, which was handled by a professional). Along with designing the layout, he built a variety of drawers, cabinets, and a bed platform before hitting the road to travel across the country.
