Installing Architectural Shingles and Skylight
A representative from Owens Corning tells Bob about the architectural shingles that have been selected to replace the old roofing material. And Velux VSE skylights with copper step flashing are installed.
HVAC System Installation
Bob discusses the SpacePak HVAC system that’s being installed to provide heating and cooling in the house and barn. The SpacePak system is well-suited to projects where space for ductwork is at a premium.
Installing French Doors
Bob talks with Ray Adam (from Pella Windows) about the new French doors to be installed in the library. It’s an active/inactive door with all hardware. The most important part of the installation is ensuring the door is plumb.
Interior Framing and Bathtub Installation
Much of the space on the first floor has been opened up to give the house a 21st-century lifestyle feel. The framing of the new addition is ongoing, and the Kohler bathtub is being installed.
