I am finishing my basement and need to replace the current window. It is currently used as the vent for the dryer but takes half the window. Are there windows that have only a corner for ventilation? Or, would you suggest block windows...with one left open to run the vent out of?

I suggest drilling a hole in the wall and running a new vent. This way the new window you put in will be able to be opened to allow fresh air in. Just a thought, maybe others will jump in on the thread and give you some advice. Good luck, plumber Tom
