I have been trying to find a replacement screen for my sliding patio door that works! I have already tried 3 different generic replacements that did not fit the track properly in door frame. The only manufacturers markings on the patio door are etched in the glass and are: MLB TEMP, SAFETY TEMPERED ANSI -Z97.1-1975 16CFP-1201

The door is 5'10" wide, and 6'7" tall
I have not been able to find any door manufacturers with those initials in my web search. I can't believe that I have to replace an entire patio door,(as the Home Depot guy suggested,) just to get a screen that slides easily and doesn't fall out.
Can anyone tell me who the manufacturer of this door was, or what I can do to solve this problem? Thank you

Have you tried going to your local inspection department to see when this door may have been installed and who may have done the work?

It's worth a shot!

The marks on the glass are probably from the glass company and not the door.

You should check the door jambs, hardware, and inbetween the glass on the spacer.

Good luck,
