When we have heavy rainfall in our NJ home, the weep holes in our basement wall release water (as designed) into the interior perimeter drain. The problem is that occasionally the water will come out so fast that it jumps over the french drain and onto the basement floor, rendering the drain and sump pump useless.

I'm thinking about putting some kind of curved plastic flashing in the drain so that it catches the water shooting out of the weep holes and directs it back into the drain.

Any thoughts on what product to use/where to get it?

My online searching has not produced great results.
