Looking for bottom edge weatherseal for a circa 1996 Stanley Door System garage door. Door is an 18 foot, non-insulated. All available paperwork does not display a model number.

I don't know if the Stanley takes any kind of specail weatherseal, but the generic EPDM rubber ones should be commonly avaialbe. You can get shorter ones from hardware stores. But for an 18ft one you would need to go to a garage door supplier.

Here is an online source.

I see that they also have a number of vinyl tubular and bulb shaped bottom seals.

Thanks, the weatherseal that came out, other than being dryrotted, had some fractured and missing portions of a "nib" that fit into a slot on the bottom panel, allowing sections to flop.

I bought one universal at the Lowes, however it appeared if it was attached as the instructions called for, it would have a twist and may not seal correctly to the floor.

I also saw some threshholds on one website, which looked like a potential second barrier.
