I purchased a set of pneumatic nailers from Amazon. All of them (brad, staple, framing) work great! The only one I am having a problem with is the 15 ga 2-1/2" 34 degree finish nailer. I have the correct Freeman nails and checked twice that they are the correct gauge, and angle. They are 2" long.

The nailer doesn't shoot these nails. The plunger makes a good size divot in the work, so I know it is firing. But the nails aren't loading in the firing chamber. When I load a clip and release the tension mechanism, the nails look like they are misaligned, and not parallel with the guide. Am I missing a step in the setup?

I did an experiment. I loaded a single nail, made sure it was properly seated in the chamber, and it did work just fine. But it seems that an entire clip of nails gets misaligned.

Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. Did you figure it out?

I had this issue when I noticed I was not loading the nails properly. Look at the slot/hole where your loading nails. make sure your loading the head all the way up. You'll see the bigger hole where the head of the nail lines up. I was loading them on the bottom of the chamber. They actually get loaded all the way up.
