What is the best way to reduce moisture in an existing basement? There is no visible water, just too much moisture.

Your best option is make sure the basement is sealed off and then use a dehumidifier to remove excess humidity. I personally use WatchDog dehumidifiers by Seaira Global. They can be found here: https://www.seairaglobal.com . I went with them because they seemed to have a better warranty and were Energy Star rated. They have a few different sizes and a guide to buying dehumidifiers to help you along.
