I have an old porcelin sink that I love. It's in perfect shape except for the finish. I was told that it would have to be "rebaked" to get an original finish back. Is this true? Are they any kits that would give me the same durable stain-resistant finish? Thanks for any info. I'm in Northern N.H. Are there any refinishing business in New England. HAVE SINK...WILL TRAVEL...

I am interested in "rebaking" my claw tub and also a sink I have. If you get any infor on "rebaking" please send it on to me.

If you search under "Porcelain Glazing" you will locate dozens of companies that will "Paint" on a durable coating, and they advertise 75%-90% savings over replacement. Most of these companies will do the job on site. I cannot vouch for the quality.

good luck.
