We moved into a rental after the landlord installed plank flooring in the bathrooms, kitchen and utility room. In one of the bathrooms, liquid seeps through between the planks and collects in a large pool between the planks and the subfloor. This morning, I stepped into the bathroom when the floor appeared to be dry, only to have liquid squirt out between the planks and splash all over my calf. Is this a sign of faulty workmanship, or did they pick the wrong type of flooring in the first place? Any suggestions for a fix?
