I'm installing a sliding door on sheaves, that will hide between the old load bearing exterior wall of a house and new cabinets in the extension. The client wants to be able to lock the door from the existing house. I've considered a deadbolt up into the jamb and pegs that would keep the door from sliding back in it's hole. I can't add a bottom deadbolt or slide bolt because of the sheave track in the floor. the door is 2" thick. Is there a company that makes a pop up dowel that I could recess into one face of the door that can then get pushed on to create a stop so the door can't be opened from the extension side? If so, what is it called and where can I find it. Thanks, Carol
