I have a stone driveway now, that has been worn down to the dirt after several years of not replenishing the gravel (I did for years). It does not have layers of stone. I would like to have a professional gravel driveway put in, with some possibility of being plowed without too much gravel ending up off the driveway. Questions: 1.) what type of gravel layering might work best? and 2.) I am in eastern Rhode Island in Tiverton, just south of Fall River-- any solid recommendations of a company who specializes in gravel driveways?
And yes, the driveway is a bit tricky with single lane curving sharply to the right into a double garage area.
