To those of you that feel that you are going insane with the beeping from a smoke detector that is physically disconnected but still hearing beeping from are not!!
This happened to me and consumed my life for 2 days . Changed the smoke detectors / batteries/ cleaned etc.

As the noises are very tricky to pinpoint, it turned out to be a battery operated alarm clock that somehow turned on when I was moving things around in the attic. It could be something in a drawer near where your smoke detector is as well and you are naturally assuming that it is the smoke detector. This makes sense especially if the beeping / chirping goes off at virtually the same time every night!!

Take a look around for anything that you have that may also beep.

I hope this helps and saves your state of mind!
