Hi all. I live in northeast ohio and I recently had my driveway replaced the weekend after Thanksgiving 2020. It was tore out on Friday and poured Saturday. Looked awesome. The contractor came by on Sunday and covered with blankets which he left on for 1 1/2 weeks. Than I waited another 1 1/2 weeks before I drove on it. And no one parked on it until Christmas day which was only for about 2 hrs. I haven't used any type of de-icers either. Than at the end of January i started to notice it was flaking little pieces off the top. Which I don't think be happening after less than 3 months. Done some research and from what I read it's spalling. Who would be at fault here me or the contractor? And if the contractor what would be the best way to approach the situation? I'm just trying to cover my bases before I approach the contractor. Thank you..

It looks like they didn't finish it properly. It takes more than some guy with a trowel to finish concrete. You may need a lawyer.
