The glass plate that rotates the food around in the microwave split in two about a year ago. I have searched high and low and haven't been able to find who has replacement plates. The microwave is not that old and works great otherwise. I hate to replace it just for the glass plate. We tried gluing it, which never worked for long, and now have a regular microwave safe plate in there which is just not fitting and barely spins around. And because it doesn't sit right, you can't put another plate on top of it. Where can I go to get a new plate for the microwave? I've seen lot of sights that sell the hi-tech parts, and not the part which is probably most easily broken. I've even gone to the Samsung wesbsite (the maker) and found nothing. HELP!

Hi,

Do you still have the old one? Might be measured for a replacement one from a dealer that sells QBP microwave parts ( replacement microwave parts for many of the common makes ).

You will probably have to call or email them, but one such parts depot is below....

....or get your model# and try the site below....

** I have searched high and low and haven't been able to find who has replacement plates. **

There are so many different turntable designs used I have my doubts you'll ever just 'come across' the right one for your model. You'll likely have to order the correct replacement by supplying the brand name and model number of the microwave you have.

You can find tips for locating the model number on your appliances in the 'Repair Parts' section of my site linked below.

BTW. Microwave oven trays and turntables are usually pretty expensive. They can easily cost in the area of $50-$75 just for it. For smaller, cheaper models, sometimes it doesn't make sense.
