We bought a house about 2 1/2 years ago. The previos owners had foundation problems but had them fixed before we moved in..Since we moved in the orginial crack in the brick has not gotten any larger but we now have cracks in the celing on one weight bearing wall. We also have a backdoor that doesn't close, and has an uneven gap in it. There are also several cabinet doors you have to slam to get them to close. We looked around the house and haven't found any cracks. What do we need to do?

Presumably the previuos owners have had the house put on piers. There are several systems and some of these can be adjusted by the people who put them in - for free if there is a transferrable warranty. So that would be the first thing I would look at. Obviously I dont know how bad the cracks are or were, but if only part of the house was fixed, the rest of the house may now be suffering some movement as a consequence. You may consider having the rest of the house fixed or redecorating, depending on how bad it is.
