Anybody familiar with the quality of Ridgid tools? I am looking at cordless: circular, jig, recip, right angle impact, corded: planer, jointer, sander, and shop vac. They have a lifetime warranty and are made for **********.

The only tool I have from Rigid is a corded Reciprocating saw. I was going to buy a Dewalt, but the Rigid happened to be on sale for the same price, and just seemed to be a better quality saw. I took my chances and purchased it. The saw is great. Feels sturdy and tough. I've dropped it a couple of times on ceramic tile and on concrete, and you can't even tell. I definitely recommend Rigid hand power tools.

I have several Ridgid tools, and I find them to be great! Both corded and cordless. My first Ridgid tool was the 16 gallon shop vacuum, and it sold me on the brand.

I made the mistake of not buying Rigid when I started to purchase tools for my shop.

Won't happen again. I'm replacing with Rigid as fast as possible.

I've heard of people who don't like them, but honestly, I've never met one

Ridgid tools are pretty darn good. They are about the same price as DeWalt, Makita etc...

I found some good prices here; http://www.powertoolexpress.com
