I have a well next to a location where I'm going to build a small horse barn. I'd like to put water into the barn. I live in an area that freezes and I'm not going to heat the barn. I was thinking of installing one of those freeze-proof outdoor hydrants in the barn and burying it in the floor. However since I won't be heating it, I can't install any pressure tank or other plumbing. Is there a way to hook a submersible pump directly to a hydrant without using any pressure / storage tanks?
