I'm at a loss here. I'm looking for a contractor/remodeler to help with installing a new shower stall base and doors, but it appears this is not a job many are eager to tackle. I'd be more than happy to hire people myself, but I'm not sure who I need.

My requirements are:

- Remove old fiberglass stall base, any necessary bathroom floor tiles, and glass shower doors

- Install new acrylic base, doors, and plumbing fixtures, including moving drain pipe if necessary.

- Retile bathroom floor around new shower stall base.

I assume I need a plumber and a tile guy, but is there anyone else that should be involved in this process?

If you got the same size base, then I don't think you would have to move the drain line. Some plumber's do tile work, but you might be able to DIY and just get away with hiring the plumber to fit in the new pan and make any necessary modifications like new faucets, etc.
