I have oak kitchen cabinets most of which are in really good shape. There are a few doors where the edges are worn and a few drawer covers that have some flaking and/or rough spots. My question is, can I just spot refinish these. I don't want to do the whole set of cabinets because most are good. How would I do this? Could I just use steel wool and then rub some stain on it? Or is there some kind of wood restoration product for something like this.
