I'm thinking about replacing my kitchen cabinets. I seem to like the Kraftmaid cabinets the best. They are available at both Home Depot and Lowe's. If you have purchased and installed Kraftmaid cabinets, and you used either Home Depot or Lowe's, will you please send me feedback? Do you recommend any other companies who make and install kitchen cabinets that are similar to Kraftmaid? Please write soon. Hope to get his project going soon! Thanks. Betty

From what I have seen in my local area and from people in other areas it all depends on the local store and manager.

Look at the overall "look" at the store (cleanness and stuff in the right places). Talk to the person that you are working with in the kitchen department. How long have they been there and doing that work? What is their background?

I ordered Kraftmaid from Lowes. It took 3 deliveries to get the cabinets right. There were problems with installation afterwards such as cracked cabinets and other issues. Make the long story short, Lowes and Kraftmaid were not very responsive in fixing the problems. We finally asked Lowes to remove all the cabinets and take them back. Lowes agreed, removed all the cabinets and refunded all our money including the installation.
