ok i hooked up the old two prong that was there before. double checked wire--still nothing with the outlet that is four feet away, and the oulet that is constant is still not working. the otherside that is not constant that worked with the switch, now the switch no longer works. now my dining room fuse switch in my circuit breaker is tripping. what is going on? why won't the old outlet work now?
i swiched wires around every combination i could think off and then put them back the way they where. please help!!

Call an electrician to fix the problem and check any other work you have done for your safety. Mr. Electric
