I have 4 bedrooms that I plan to install recessed lighting into.(New Construction)

If I use a 20 AMP circuit, 12guage wire, would I be able to wire all of the rooms onto one circuit? Or should I Split them up? There is 4 lamps in each room, totalling 16 lights + 2 in the hall way=18 total. I believe they use a maximum of 75 watts per lamp. I may use 60watts instead. What is your take on this?

Also, what would be the maximum number of lamps I could use on a circuit of this type?

Thanks.

A 20 amp circuit can loaded to 1920 watts. You are below that at 1200 watts.
