electrical contractor

i am currently working as an electrician.

i was recently attacked and defended myself.

the aggressor suffered severe injuries.

i may get stuck with a felony assault charge, even though witnessess testified i was not the aggressor.

so, my question is does this ruin my dream of becoming an electrical contratctor because of insurance / surety bond issues for felons?

journeyman electrician problems?
