Hi - I am in the process of getting a new roof. My existing decking was 1 by 6 boards, and some of them had to be replaced. The roofers replaced these boards with plywood, rather than new 1 x 6... I don't know if this is okay, or if I need to tell them to replace the plywood with 1 x 6, I have to let them know by tommorrow. Can you please advise? thank you !

Provided that the plywood is the same thickness as the old 1x6's I wouldn't worry about it.

plywood is actually the preferred material for roofing so long as they used 3/4 plywood and not 1/2 inch otherwise there would be a noticible spot where the plywood was put in
