I'm going to apply Polyurethane to a large flat surface (a table) and wanted to know what you use to apply the Poly. In the past I've used the cheap foam brushes, but they have little pieces that fall off. Any ideas on the type of brush to use, or a better method.

If it is an oil based polyurethane you will want to use a chinese bristle brush such as a Wooster Yacthsman. When you go to the paint store to get the brush be sure to ask for a professional brush not a homeowner style.
