I laid light color 12 x 12 tiles in a large room. I put midnight blue grout in the joints. I was not able to get the grout cleaned in time. After several days of scrubbing the grout is finally off the tile but the color is terribly washed and spotted. What can I do now?

To make sure it's clear: is it the remaining grout that now looks "washed and spotted" or is it the tiles?
If it's the tiles, I suspect their color will come back. If it's the grout, that's probably tougher. Have you sealed the grout yet?

no the grout isn't sealed yet. In several areas the grout is darker in spots. we have rented a 17 inch floor buffer. We will use a porcelain cleaner with bleach in powder form. I am hoping this will take the bluish haze off the tile and bleach the grout uniformly throughout the house. I believe the different colors of the grout were caused by the different scrubbing methods of the 10 friends that came over to help the first night after grouting.
