I would like to have my kitchen floors (oak in good condition) stained to match my other floors (oak light-medium rosewood stain) without all the dust. The kitchen floors are the natural color with a seal. Is it possible to have them stained to match without the sanding or, is it not recommended?

i think the answer is ,if you want to change the color(stain) in a wood floor ,you will have to sand it.(yes you will get some dust) if you get bids on sanding your floor ,ask each company how they handel air quality. good luck

It is already sealed so yes you need to sand.If it just had a light stain on it then you could restain it but sealer is meant to keep it nice and then you will also need to reseal it when you are done too.
