It's the brand name. No telling who the manufacturer is. It's sold at a place in LA called "Contractor's Warehouse". It's 8.3mm glueless laminate. Has a 20 year guarantee. Looks pretty good quality-wise. Among the listed features on the box: impact resistant, stain and water resistant, resistant to burning cigarettes(I don't smoke, or allow it in my home), resistant to household chemicals, and light fastness of grade 6 on wool scale as per EN 20105.

Just thought someone may have some background on this product.

Background is:

New manufacturer who has been around about as long as 1/100th of the warranty, and will not be around much longer unless they are selling that floor for a respectable price based on the aledged quality.
after 10 years in the business, I have never heard of em.

Actually I laid about a thousand feet of it in my living areas. We have had it down for about a year and have been very pleased. We tried everything from soaking a chunk in water overnight to soaking a small piece in bleach overnight. I finally managed to scratch it with an awl! What I used was from the Aspen Collection, an 8.3MM 4.3 inches wide. It was beveled all the way around, and was rated ACA class 23/31. Ours was 22.88SF per box, and required separate underlayment. Its imported by Quality Craft, Ltd. in Canada, and by QCIL in Bonita Springs, FL. Faster information on the website. I would like to have another 700SF in Brunswick Red Oak, and the folks at QCIL told me that "Floor & Decor" would have it soon, but the store in San Antonio is new as of January, and so far they do not have it. I surfed the web site of the manufacturer (in China) and the operation is huge, though who knows what portion may be devoted to flooring. I'm 63 years old, and there's a lot of things I've not heard about - but now we've all heard of Shure Clink.
