we recently had tile installed in our kitchen and family room, we installed new baseboards and need to calk under the baseboards as well as on top, please advise what type of calk to buy as well as directions for calking, I have never dones this before.

i would use white painter's caulk. caulk on top of the baseboard where it meets the wall. simply run a bead of caulk in the gap, and then run your finger over it to push it in and then use a wet rag to go over it to clean off the exess. im not sure if you want to caulk where the baseboard meets the tile because of the larger gaps in the grout lines. if you do though, do it the same way and clean it the best you can off the grout.
