We own (for a little longer anyway) a old home that the original hardwoods may have been put down in the 30's. We are guessing that in the 50's they did remodeling and painted the wood floors a chocolate color. We have sold our home, but the new owner wants the paint removed. I have no clue as to the maker of the paint or what the floors look like under the paint. I hate to sand the paint off and risk destroying the wood any more. Can you think of any paint remover that may work to remove the paint, but want hurt the floors? Any suggestions would be good. Thanks! Jo
